In Monda, nouns always end in "-o". By default, nouns are gender neutral. Two exceptions are patro (father) and matro (mother):

To make a word masculine use the "-ul-" suffix. To make it feminine use the "-in-" suffix:

Articles
Just like English, there is only one definite article, "la" (the). The article is the same regardless of gender or number:

- La libros (the books).
There is no indefinite article (a/an).

Possessive
To indicate possession we simply use "de" in the same way as "of" in English:
